a nice and strange indiensoci article. the first one yet!!
the only thing i don't like about it is that it says "years later, that girl has submerged herself in Montreal’s music scene, playing shows and recording, all the while juggling three separate musical projects...."......... HHHm welll which musical projects?... who is this indiensoci girl anyways?... why is she so important that i read about her?... that is how the article made me feel. I was very surprised that they had wanted to do an interview because indiensoci is on the back burner, has cooooooled down a little bit. I am hot with these other projects.... and then i went blah blah blah about how indiensoci is me so this article isn't really about the solo entity it is about indiensoci as me so it should state the other things that I do right???
A very nice interview I did have though over cheap greasy breakfast.

Yesterday Blue Hawaii joined Sebby on CKUT for Montreal Sessions (this month hosted by Arbutus Records). We didn't play much Blue Hawaii, only one track - Blue Gowns, which everyone has already heard. We did though play some of our solo projects on the radio and our friends projects as well.

Hello followers of whatever is known of Indiensoci.
Indiensoci now just my persona and as a project is on the back burners for a while.

Much has happened since July 27 2009.
I would just like to point out that enthusiasm is a good feeling and that its greatest enemy is time.
There is no indiensoci album though Morgan and I spent a lot of time this summer recording, having fun, eating macaroni, drinking gin, and making tracks that are to be called STALE PINK DEMOS until I get my shit together and finish the album.
All in good time though.

Indiensoci is a part of two very wonderful projects-
BRAIDS,
and a very recent collaboration BLUE HAWAII

BRAIDS is now finished recording their first full length, NATIVE SPEAKER, which is due to be released sometime in the summer. I was thinking of releasing the lyrics via this blog for NATIVE SPEAKER. And I guess the BRAIDS blog too.

BLUE HAWAII is currently recording their first full length, PERMANENT VACATION, which is due to be released mid April. I will be posting some of our tracks in the next coming weeks. PERMANENT VACATION will be released a free download so that all you poor kids can have a listen.

I also have some INDIENSOCI demos that are long overdue, and that should at some point be heard.
I am currently working on an ambient album entitled KATIE that will be released god knows when. I will have a free download so that all you poor kids can have a listen to it as well, and if you have some money you can pay me 20 bucks for a 7 inch and i'll send it to your door. But that is so far in the future that I can't even touch it.
Anyways... things to watch out for:

NEWS OF AN ALBUM

Over at the local library. 50 kids just exited from a room, laughing and crying, pushing for the computers and picture books. Thought I'd give an update... since I haven't since December of last year... oh geeze. HOLY SHIT these kids just want the computer so badly. It's her turn to use the mouse. You listen. Come on we're going the park now.

I'm gettin out of here quick... So I'll make this fast.I'm finally recording a full length. Due to be released December sometime, in the heart of montreal winters, when not really anything is happening, so it felt last year. Morgan Greenwood of Azeda Booth is producing it and we're having a hell of a time. I'm really excited for it. It's strange listening back to what you've been working on for almost three years, hearing it come alive. A very strange process indeed... I'm enjoying it so much though.
I'll post some mini clips when I get the chance... it won't take me until December to put it up. Here is a picutre of Momo and I having a good time.
